In the case of wet weather or extreme heat, Simply Skateboarding reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event. Safety is paramount to all of the activities we run, so of course if we determine the weather to be unsuitable and cancel an event, we're only making sure no one gets hurt!

Generally speaking we make wet weather decisions based on the Bureu of Meteorology - Melbourne Radar Loop, as well as common sense.  

Heat Policy: Simply Skateboarding is committed to the safety of clients, program participants and our staff and as such we align with Sports Medicine Australia’s ‘Preventing Heat Illness in Sport’ policy. This Policy is also followed by Skateboarding Australia, the peak body for Skateboarding within Australia.

Generally speaking unless the ambient temperature is 36 or above and the humidity exceeds 30% programs will proceed. However once temperatures go over 30 participants, staff and spectators will be reminded of the importance of hydration, rest and other heat illness risk reducing strategies and programs / activities may be adjusted to allow for this.
